Removal and installation of the steering mechanism
Details of the installation of the input node of the steering mechanism | | |

- Details of the installation of the steering mechanism shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
- Pump the hydraulic fluid from the tank GUR.
- Remove the front axle assembly (see. Section Removal and installation of assemblage of the front axle).
- With the help of a stripper release the rod ends (10a) of the steering knuckle, - self-locking nuts must be replaced without fail.
- Bring the front wheels in the straight-ahead position, and then remove the key from the ignition.
- On vehicles with parametric steering Disconnect wiring connector SPS on the cylinder head cover.
- Disconnect the return line (30f) and the expansion pressure hose (30i).
- Loosen the nut (25d) bolting and separate the lower steering column shaft (80a) of the input node (25).
- Remove the screws (23a) and remove the steering assembly (23) with the sub-frame (1).
- Assess the rubber feet (21), in case of need make replacement.
- Installation is performed in reverse order, track correctness of fit shims (23h and 23i), installed between the rubber mounts and subframe only the right side of the assembly - washers differ in thickness. Do not forget to change the sealing elements choke connectors hydraulic lines.
- Fill the reservoir steering pump fresh fluid and bleed the hydraulic path (see. Section Filling and "pumping" of the steering pump).
- Make sure there are no signs of leaks.
- In conclusion, if the steering mechanism was replaced, drive to a service station to adjust the convergence of the front wheels.
