Removal and installation of the lower and upper sections of the main instrument panel

| - Details of installation of the lower section of the instrument panel are shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
- Move the selector lever to position "1" and prop wheel protivotkatnymi shoes.
- Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Remove the trim panel of the steering column stalk and assembly (3).
- Turn 1 (model manufacture 08.31.99) / 3 (models of release since 1.9.99) mounting bolts (7).
- Turn left lower screws (5) securing the lower section of the instrument panel (4).
- Remove the center (console) section (11), the instrument panel (see. Section Removal and installation of the central (console) section of the instrument panel).
- Remove the control panel functioning of systems of heating / ventilation / air conditioning (10).
- Remove the screws (8 and 9).
- Remove the glovebox (see. Sections Removal and installation of the main storage compartment and Removal, installation and adjustment of the main storage compartment lid (model manufacture 08.31.99)).
- Remove the right lower screws (6) securing the lower section of the instrument panel (4).
- Release of the instrument panel lights lighting the entrance (17) and remove them after disconnecting the wiring.
- Remove the side trim panels (15) and remove the screws positioned under them (16).
- Release four latches (A) in the central portion of the lower section of the dashboard (4).
- Disconnect the drive cable (14) from the handle is released the parking brake (13).
- Remove the bottom section (4), the instrument panel, - try not to damage the instrument cluster.
- Installation is in the reverse order - track correctness of planting guide tabs (B).
- Finally, clean the memory module on-board self-diagnostic system (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

The upper section Details of installation of the upper section of the instrument panel  | | |
| - Details of installation of the upper section of the instrument panel are shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
- Remove the bottom section (10), the instrument panel (see. Above).
- Remove the finishing panels racks A (see. Section Removal and installation of the panels finish touring racks).
- Having hooked a good wedge, remove the deflector (1) air blower windscreen, as well as the central assembly (7) and side (5) deflectors (see. Section Removal and installation of the instrument panel vents ducts).
- Remove the top two mounting screws (3).
- Disconnect the connector (11) and remove the assembly of the instrument cluster (A1) (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
- On models of release since 1.9.99 disconnect the wiring from the solar radiation sensor, - the connector is placed under the dash.
- At a corresponding complete set remove the display system Parktronic.
- On models of release since 1.9.99 disconnect the wiring of the servo drive of a valve heating / ventilation / air conditioning - pin connector assembly is placed under the left center vent, as well as a temperature sensor, - the connector assembly on the right under the central vents.
- Remove the central (9) and side (4) fixing bolts and remove the top section (2) the instrument panel.
- Installation is in the reverse order - try not to damage the instrument cluster.
