Cylinder block
Withdrawal | - Remove the cylinder head, timing belt, front cover, flywheel, pistons and crankshaft.
- Special adaptation (09260-32000), remove the oil pressure gauge.
|
|
Check Cylinder block | - Remove the remains of the engine block gasket sealant, dirt, oil, grease and other foreign material. Visually inspect the cylinder block for rust, corrosion, cracks and other defects.
| - Clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head and cylinder block from the remnants of lining. Metal ruler and probe in six directions check the flatness of the mating surface of the cylinder.
Deviation from flatness: 0.03mm The maximum permitted deviation: 0.1 mm |
| - Measure the diameter of the cylinder in diametrically opposite directions in three dimensions by adjustment cylinders. If the diameter of the cylinder exceeds the limit, have round or tapered surface of the cylinder or damaged or production, it is necessary to bore the cylinder block and install new pistons and piston rings of the repair sizes.
Nominal Bore: 82 mm The taper of the cylinder: not more than 0.01 mm |
- If the top of the cylinder has a step, cut it with a special tool.
- As the parts are supplied pistons increased four sizes: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1.00 mm.
- If the cylinder bore to the nearest oversized soak clearance between the piston and the cylinder and make sure that the pistons are of the same size increased.
- Measure the outside diameter of each piston at a distance of 47 mm from the piston skirt.
The clearance between the piston and the cylinder: - Engines of 1.8 and 2.0 liters: 0.02-0.04 mm; - Engines of 1.6 liters: 0,025-0,045 mm.
- When using the new parts is allowed a maximum gap of no more than 85 microns.
