Removal and installation of injectors



  • Fuel system operates at high pressures (1350 bar).
  • Do not carry out any work on the fuel system with the engine running or within 30 seconds after it stops.
  • Always follow the precautions.
  • When working ensure absolute cleanliness.
  • Never remove the nozzles.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the nozzle.
  3. Disconnect the high pressure pipe from the pressure accumulator and injectors.
  4. Click on the clip and moving back, disconnect the fuel return pipe.
  5. Attach fuel return line connection. Never install it without clamping.
  6. Remove the copper sealing ring.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before installing injectors, clean the mating surface of the cylinder head and the surface of the seal.
  2. Insert the brush.
  3. Clean the sealing surface.
  4. Install a new copper sealing ring. To keep the rings on the nozzle, you can use a small amount of grease.
  5. Install the nozzle at the same time do not touch the tip of the spray gun and the slide clamp with the clamp bolt.
  6. Screw the clamping screw. Torque: 27 ?� 2 N ??? m.
  7. Install the high pressure pipe. Torque: 18-23 N ??? m.
  8. When installing the high pressure pipe to eliminate its twist lock hex key element of the pipeline.
  9. Attach fuel return line connection. Never install it without clamping.
  10. Pulling back on, check the fastening of the pipeline of return of fuel.
  11. Connect the injector electrical connector.
  12. Attach the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
  13. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
  14. Check and erase stored in the memory DTCs fuel injector.
