Removal and installation of the glazing body
Door glass The front doors Details of installation of the window glass of the front door
| - Remove the interior trim and door insulation pad (see. Section Removal and installation of interior trim door assembly), - the damaged lining must be replaced.
- In part (about halfway) lower window pane (3).
- Take precautionary measures against falling glass, remove the mounting screws (1).
- Remove the sealing element (2), - try not to break off the tab front retainer. A damaged gasket must be replaced.
- Pull up a rotation of 90 ?�, remove the glass (3) of the window opening.
- Installation in reverse order - tightening the mounting screws (1) should be made only after the glass (3) is aligned in the window opening.
- Finally, make sure the smooth progress of lowering / raising of the door glass.

Rear doors Glass rear door assembly is removed from the window frame (see. Section Removal and installation of window frames door assemblies). Side window fixed Touring Models Details of installation of the fixed side window on models Universal Withdrawal | - Accurately disunite an electric socket glued to the glass antenna (A2 / 33).
 | If mating connector is separated from the glass (1) will have to replace the latter. |
- Fix the glass (1) sucker remover.
- Hooking a suitable wedge and a stripper while pulling out, release the glass (1) complete with rubber gasket (2) of the window opening.
- If necessary, remove the seal (2) and replace the glass (1). A damaged seal (2) must also be replaced.

Setting | - Fill the installation cable into the groove of the rubber seal (2).
- Lubricate the seal (2) with a suitable composition (000 989 11 60).
- With the help of an assistant press the glass (1) to the outside of the seat flange of the window opening and start filling the seal (2) on the flange by pulling the cord inside (start from the bottom) - Make sure the seat of the seal.
- Finally, connect the wiring to the antenna (A2 / 33).

- If necessary, remove the seal (2) and replace the glass (3). A damaged seal (2) must also be replaced.

- Remove the rain sensor (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
- Take off the glass wiper arms.
- Cut open the rubber gasket sealing frame (1).
- Using the help of an assistant, push the glass (2) out of the window opening and remove it from the car - do not forget to disunite push the connector (7) electrical antenna amplifier (A2 / 65) on the right pane of glass (2).
- Thoroughly clean planting flange (5) of the window opening from mud deposits.

Setting | - Put on the glass (2) sealing frame (1).
- Thread the cable installation (3) landing slot sealing frame (1).
| The amount of overlap cord should be about 20 centimeters. |
- Grease the adhesive (4) around the perimeter of the planting flange (5) of the window opening - width of the oiled area must be at least 7 millimeters.
- With the help of an assistant Start the glass (2) into the window opening and connect the wiring (6) of the antenna amplifier (A2 / 65).
- Gently press the glass (2) to the bearing flange (5) and, starting from the bottom, begin to pull into the installation cable (3).
 | Insufficient density of pressing the flange (5) can cause damage to the glass (2)! |
- Type glue (4) into the gap between the sealing frame (1) and the glass (2) around the perimeter of the window opening. The excess adhesive mass immediately pay.
- The polymerization adhesive is 12 hours, after which the wipers can be lowered into position.
- Finally, install rain sensors and solar radiation (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
