Removing and installing door window frame assemblies

The front doors

The order of removal of the window frame of the front door

1 - Rubber seal 2 - Joinery 3 - Facing frame	4 - Bolt Arrows - Loosen the screws

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove the glass door window (see. Sections Removal and installation of door window frame assembly and removal and installation of the glazing of the body). Release of the window opening rubber seal (1), - if necessary, prepare a removable sealing member. Remove the screws (arrows) securing the window frame (2). Liberate from clamps and remove the lining frame (3) of the window opening. Remove the screws (4) on the left and right at the bottom of the frame (2), then remove the last of the window opening, pulling up and out. Installation is in the reverse order - Facing frame must be fitted before fixing the frame. Finally, make sure the smooth progress of lowering / raising of the door glass.

Rear doors

The window frames rear door assembly removed from the glass.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove the interior door trim (see. Section Removal and installation of an internal upholstery of door assemblies). Remove the lower sealing element (1) of the window opening, - try not to break off the tab front retainer. A damaged gasket must be replaced. Release of the window opening rubber seal (2). Remove the bolts (arrows) securing the frame (3). Release the clips and remove the lining frame (4). Replace the rubber seal (2) and completely lift the glass (8). Carefully remove the insulating coating film door (see. Section Removal and installation of an internal upholstery of door assemblies) - will have to replace the damaged film. Remove the screws (5 and 6) to the left and right at the bottom of the frame (3). Take precautions against falling glass and remove the screws (7) of its attachment to the controller. Submitting outwardly, gently remove the frame (3) in the glass assembly (8) of the window opening. Installation is in the reverse order - Facing frame must be fitted before fixing the frame. Tightening the screws (7) should be made only after a raised glass (8) will be aligned in the window opening. Finally, make sure the smooth progress of lowering / raising of the door glass.
