Removal and installation of washer fluid reservoir

- Remove the top crossbeam of the frame (see. Section Removal and installation of the front upper crossmember of the frame).
- Disconnect the wiring and hoses from pumps (5) supply of a washing liquid and - at the appropriate equipment - from the level sensor.
- Release of the lock (4) Hose (3) refrigerator path K / V.
- On models 163.128 (ML 400 CDI), remove the cover and the intermediate hose clamps securing the mounting fuse / relay box.
- Release coolant heat exchanger (10) of the lower number of plugs.
- With the help of an assistant, lift the cooler (10), unscrew the bolt (2), release of the landing plugs (6) washer fluid reservoir (1), take it inside and pull up, pull from the engine compartment.
- Installation is in the reverse order - track landing completeness of the tank (1) in the sleeve (6) and reliability snaps into the side lock.
