Replace the bonnet hinge

The screws (1) fastening the hinge to the hood straps

The nuts (3) securing the hinge assembly (2) to the body panel

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Details of installation of the hood hinge brackets are shown in the illustrations, which include all the links in the text. If both loops to be replaced, remove the hood (see. Section Removal, installation and adjustment of the hood), if one - open it and lock in an upright position. Remove the air intake cover (see. Section Removing the drive front wipers). Remove the rubber cover hinge - plates must be replaced without fail. Cut the seal around the loop so as to ensure the freedom of travel of the latter, - the seals must be replaced without fail when installing the gasket should be painted. Mark the position of the loop straps. Remove gas-filled emphasis (see. Section Removal and installation of a gas-filled stop fixing the hood in the open position). Remove the fastening screws (1) and take the nuts (3). Remove the looped assembly (2). Installation is in the reverse order - make sure that the looped straps have been installed in accordance with the application in the process of dismantling the mark. Check the position of the hood, if necessary, make the appropriate adjustment (see. Section Removal, installation and adjustment of the hood).
