Removal and installation of the outside door handle

1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery when the ignition is off. You must first remove the air filter box of the passenger compartment.

Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio security code, if any, address to Section Replacement of the battery.

2. Unlock the car door with the ignition key. During the follow-up work saves the state of the door unlocked.

3. Open the door and remove the sealing strip (1) at the height of the door handle of the door frame.

4. Type in the hole (2) and a screwdriver, unscrew the small screw Torx.

5. Pull the door handle (1) and hold it in this position. At the same time remove the lock cylinder (2).

6. Disconnect the connector (3) of the lock cylinder and remove the cylinder.

7. Remove the cover (1) with a cylinder lock.

8. Pull the door handle back (arrow in the illustration) and remove it from the front of the holder.

9. Remove the handle from the rear of the holder (2) and remove the door.
10. Remove the gaskets for the door handle.

1. Set the door gaskets into place. Insert the holder into the rear handle, wherein the lever (3) must engage the back plate (1) of the locking mechanism. (2) - the lock cylinder. The illustration shows a support collar (4) of the handle with the inner side of the door. To remove the support necessary to remove the clamp facing the door.

2. Insert the pen holder into the front, with a pen, press forward.
3. Pull the handle and hold it in this position and insert the cylinder lock with a lid.

If the condition of release has been violated, pre-set the lock with emergency key by turning counterclockwise to the "open".

4. Replace Torx screw and fix the cylinder to the door.
5. Attach the sealing tape from the door frame.
6. Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery when the ignition is switched off. Replace the cabin air filter box. Enter the code of the radio and set the time on the clock.
7. Check the operation of the door locking mechanism.

When erroneous blocking the uniform lock, if necessary, return the setting back of the dashboard.
