Removal and installation of components of timing

- Remove the pan (see. Section Service lubrication system).
- Remove the timing cover (see. Section Removal and installation of covers of timing).
- Otboltite asterisk (6) oil pump drive, or remove the pump assembly (see. Section Service lubrication system).
- Remove the oil pump drive chain (8).
- Remove the gas distribution chain (see. Section Replacing the gas distribution chain), - for skidyvaniya chain from the crankshaft sprocket (11) move aside the tensioning rail.
- With the help of a stripper (06), remove the crankshaft sprocket (11).
- Installation is in the reverse order. If necessary, before landing a star on the shaft journal should be warm, and make sure the correctness of entering the segment keys (12) in the receiving groove. Chain guide to the cylinder head

- Remove the front cover (23) of the cylinder head (see. Section Removal and installation of covers of timing).
- Provernuv the crankshaft in the normal direction, bring the piston of the first cylinder in position of 20 ?� after TDC.
- By means of blocking pins (01) lock the inlet (75) and an outlet (78) camshafts.
- Remove the chain tensioner (14) (See below.).
- Otboltite and remove the chain guide (70).
- Installation is in the reverse order.

- Remove the chain guide (6) with bearing pins (8).

- Remove the air cleaner cover (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
- On models equipped with the charge air, remove the compressor.

- Wrap a clean rag generator.
- Loosen the end cap (1) and remove the tensioner assembly (14).
- Installation is in the reverse order - to forget to replace a sealing element (15).
- Finally, start the engine and check the tensioner assembly for signs of leaks.
