| - Details of the cover on the timing engine 111 series are shown in the illustrations, which include all the links in the text.
- Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Remove assemblage of the left sleeve tract charge air sensor MAF (see. Section Removal and engine installation).
- Remove the oil filter cartridge (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust) and drain the oil into the prepared container.
- Remove the cooling fan assembly with the viscous coupling (see chap. System of cooling, heating and air conditioner).
- Remove the fan cover of the cooling system (see chap. System of cooling, heating and air conditioner).
- Remove the pan (see. Section Service lubrication system).
- Remove the supercharger drive belt.
- Remove the accessory drive belt.
- Drain the cooling system (see chap. System of cooling, heating and air conditioner).
- Remove the support bracket of the generator / alternator assembly from the mounting bracket (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
- Remove the belt tensioner assembly accessory (see chap. Engine).
- Remove the front cylinder head cover (see. Above).
- Remove the water pump (see chap. System of cooling, heating and air conditioner).
- Remove the steering pump drive pulley (44), - retention of the pulley against rotation may be effected by crimping temporarily installed in place of the drive belt.
- Otboltite bracket (47).
- On models without K / remove an arm (46b). On models with K / remove the brackets (46) and (46a).
- Remove the steering pump (45) and move it to the side without disconnecting the hydraulic lines.
- Provernuv the crankshaft in the normal direction, bring the piston of the first cylinder in position of 20-30 ? after TDC (see. Arrows in the figure 5.7b).
- With the help of locking rods (01) fix the camshafts.
- Marker, mark the position of the gas distribution chain regarding the asterisks of camshafts (75 and 76).
- Remove the chain tensioner (14).
- Remove exhaust sprocket (76) and the inlet (75) camshaft.
| Stars bolts must be replaced without fail. |
- Remove the intake shaft assembly from the regulator.
- Remove the chain guide pins (11).
| When installing studs put on a sealant. |
- Remove the bolts (A) securing the timing cover to the cylinder head.
| Screws are equipped with heads of type TORX. |
- Remove the drive belt pulley assembly with an integrated vibration damper (95).
- Mark marker bolts timing cover.
- Turn out fixing bolts and remove the cover (65), - try not to damage the head gasket.
- Replace radial seal in crankshaft (see. Section Replacement of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft).
- Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a cover and crankcase.
- Replace O-rings (66).
- Lubricate the mating surface of the lid sealant, making sure that the latter did not get into the oil reservoir (65a) of the gas distribution chain.
- Installation is in the reverse order - when installing the chain cover, pull up the slack completely by selecting it on the bottom. Track, that all fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.

M112 / 113 Details of the cover timing on engines series 112 and 113 | | |
| - Details of the cover timing on engines series 112 and 113 are shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
- Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Remove the trim panel of the power unit.
- Drain the coolant from the radiator.
- Remove the cylinder head cover of the power unit / air cleaner assembly.
- Remove the cooling fan assembly with the viscous coupling (1).
- Remove the lower bolts and remove the fan cover / assembling electric fan.
- Set the screen to protect the radiator / condenser K / V.
- Remove the accessory drive belt (2).
- Remove the cylinder head cover (6).
- Disconnect line (17 and 18) of the water pump.
- Disconnect the hose (16) from the thermostat housing.
- Remove and, without disconnecting the line refrigerator, take aside the compressor K / V (A9).
- Remove the bottom section of the oil pan (see. Section Service lubrication system).
- Remove the upper section of the oil pan (see. Section Service lubrication system).
- Remove tensioner assembly accessory drive belt.
- Remove vibration damper (4)
- Remove the gas distribution chain tensioner (14).
- Remove the liquid heat exchanger equipped with a built-in oil filter housing (7).
- Remove and, without disconnecting the hydraulic lines, move toward the steering pump assembly (11).
- Remove the timing cover the guide roller (15) accessory drive belt.
- Remove the air pump (20).
- Separate the wiring from the thermostat.
- Remove the bolts (21) securing the timing cover to the cylinder heads.
- Remove the screws securing the timing cover.
| When installing the threaded part of the screw should be lubricated with silicone. |
