Removal and installation of the end cap, replacing crankshaft rear oil seal
Details of the installation of the end cap of the engine 111 series
| - Details of the installation of the end cap of the engine 111 series are shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
- Remove the transmission (see chap. Manual box of a gear change or automatically processed transmission).
- On models with Manual transmission, remove the clutch assembly (see chap. The transmission line).
- Remove flywheel / drive plate (see. Section Removal and installation of a flywheel / drive disc).
- Inspect the engine for signs of leaks, if necessary, replace the crankshaft rear oil seal (See below.).
- Remove the screws (4 and 5).
- Having hooked behind projections indicated by the arrows, separate the end cap (1) from the engine.
- Examine the condition of the gland (21), in case of need make its replacement (See below.).
- Installation is in the reverse order.

- Remove the end cover of the engine (see. Above).
- Having hooked a screw-driver, remove the rear oil seal (21).
- Press in the new oil seal to the new end cap on the rear side of the latter.
- Operating in reverse order of disassembly, install the removed parts.

- Remove the transmission (see chap. Automatically processed transmission).
- Remove the drive disk (see. Section Removal and installation of a flywheel / drive disc).
- Turn out fixing bolts and remove the end cap (1), gently lift it in places indicated by the arrows.
- Examine the condition of the gland (3), if necessary, replace the cover with stuffing box assembly.
- Installation is in the reverse order.
