Removing and installing sump

1. Open the hood and set it upright.
2. Remove the right wiper, refer to Section Removal and installation of the wiper arm of the windscreen.
3. Remove the cover of the fuse box on the left side in the engine compartment. To do this, turn the plastic screws 1/4 turn and remove the cover from the guide rail.
4. Remove from the sump to the holders of wires and hoses.
5. Remove the multi-sensor, if installed.

6. Remove from the sump 4 bolts (arrows on an illustration).

7. Remove the drip pan on the sides of the windshield. If necessary, use a special tool, for example, an exhaust hook 140 589 02 33 00 company MERCEDES, grabbed him under the sealing lip.
