Removing and installing front door

1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery when the ignition is off. You must first remove the air filter box of the passenger compartment.

Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio security code, if any, address to Section Replacement of the battery.

2. Fully lower the window and open the door.
3. Separate with a plastic wedge from the front door of the bar holder and remove the clamp.
4. Remove the bottom front edging A.
5. Remove the cover from the bottom of the A-pillar cladding in the area of the legs and remove the bolt, which lies beneath it.
6. Separate with plastic trim at the bottom of the wedge pillar of the holders and remove the clamp. Beneath it are the electrical wires of the door.
7. Disconnect the connectors of electrical wires.

8. Remove with a plastic wedge case for the cable (1) of the pillar and pull out the wire.

9. Remove the screws (2) stop the door.
10. Have an assistant hold the door. Remove the nuts (3) securing the top and bottom hinges. Remove the door and place it on a cushioned surface.

1. With the help of an assistant, reinstall the door and hinge screw nuts, without tightening them.
2. Close the door and check the gap. If necessary, adjust the door, refer to the appropriate section.
3. Tighten hinge point 8 nm.
4. Secure the door stopper torque 10Nm.
5. The further installation is carried out in sequence, return to removal.
6. Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery when the ignition is switched off. Replace the cabin air filter box. Enter the code of the radio and set the time on the clock.
