Removing and installing input and intermediate shafts

Details of the installation of the input and intermediate shaft transfer case


1 - The intermediate shaft 2 - Input (lead) shaft	3 - Shift Fork 4 - switching rod

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove the center differential assembly (see. Section Removal and installation of the center differential).
Remove the transfer case from the front (leading) (2) and intermediate (1) shafts.
Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to adjust the axial play of the shaft by fitting shims.
